Wave Books has Opened Their Reading Period

Standard
Wave Books is celebrating National Poetry Month by reading manuscripts of poetry and poetry in translation during April. Submissions will be accepted starting April 1 and must be received by midnight on April 30. Any submission received before or after April will not be read.
Guidelines
Please send the following to submissions@wavepoetry.com:

• a 10-page sample of poems from the manuscript in PDF format
• a full manuscript in MS Word or rich text format
• a one-page cover letter (in PDF format) including a brief bio and publication highlights. For translations, please also send biographical information about the poet being translated

Please do not send a CV or project description. We will not be reading them and we don’t want you to have to waste time pulling them together.

If you want to send more than one manuscript, please email them as separate submissions.

Simultaneous submissions are ok. Please do let us know if your book is accepted elsewhere.

Please note: We will accept submissions by email only. Submissions sent to the office will be returned unread.

 More info under the fold.

When to Submit
Submissions will be accepted starting April 1 and must be received by midnight on April 30. Any submission received before or after April will not be read.

What to Expect
You will receive a confirmation email that we have received your manuscript. If you do not get this message fairly quickly after submitting, please write to info@wavepoetry.com and we will sort it out.

Our Editorial Board will read all submissions, and we regret that we will not be able to respond to each one individually. We will only get in touch with you if we have questions or need further information to consider your submission. Thanks for sending your work to Wave Books. We look forward to reading it!
