April 29th – Sou MacMillan & Workshop

A veteran of the nineties Columbus, Ohio indie music scene, Sou MacMillan was the voice behind Caroline/Double Deuce band Pet Ufo. She is the author of Chrysanthemum, a punk rock coming of age story, and has been published in numerous anthologies, including Subatomic Books’ One Step Beyond, and Mark Eleveld’s The Spoken Word Revolution Redux. Sou lives in Worcester, MA with her husband and son, where she games, knits, collages, and endeavors to write science fiction stories.

But wait – there’s more!  Before we start the night with our open mic, we’ll be holding a workshop, lead by the lovely reading hostess Sarah Sapienza.  Workshop from 5:30 – 6:30, then doors will open to the general public.  Show starts at 7p.
To recap, workshop (5:30-6:30), open mic (starting at 7), Sou MacMillan features after the open!.  Doors at 6:30p, show at 7p, free and all ages.  Donations accepted.  Snacks! We’ll be at the WCUW Frontroom (910 Main Street, Worcester)  – can’t wait to see you there!
