Heidi Therrien is a poet, writer, teacher, performer, director and artist who currently resides in Portland, ME. She has been a featured poet at many venues around New England and facilitates workshops for writers of all ages. She was the Opening Ceremonies poet at the 2011 Individual World Poetry Slam in Cleveland, OH. In 2012, her poem, To Make Breakfast One Year After, was voted one of the top ten poems to not make finals stage. Heidi is also the 2012 Grand Slam Champion of NH. Her poetry can be found in Multiple Journals such as Centripetal, Blood on the Floor Vol. 1&2 and the anthology The 2010 Poet’s Guide to New Hampshire.
