Rabbit Heart Poetry Film Festival Is Happening!

Movies have been made and submitted, judging has been completed, a delicious venue has been secured (Nick’s Bar – with the fancy fancy red curtains!) and the night of October 12th picked out – and now it’s that time. TICKETS ARE NOW ON SALE for the very first Rabbit Heart Poetry Film Festival Viewing Party and Awards Ceremony. I’m pleased as punch to report that emceeing that night will be handled by my favorite duo, Tony Brown and Melissa Mitchell!
You can order your tickets from the Doublebunny Press store, right here.

Fun Tiems 4 New Years

Don't drive like this guy (unless someone with a laser cannon is chasing you).

It’s New Year’s Eve – stuff is happening all over the place. For example, here in Wotown, WCPA and others (Including the Worcester Youth Slam at 4:00) will be performing at the Worcester Art Museum as part of First Night.

In Boston, at the Hynes Convention Center, there’s plenty of poetry slam from the Cantab folks as part of  the First Night Celebrations too.

In Providence, check out the Encyclopedia Show: The Future – Franny Choi, Laura Lamb-Lavoie, Tom Weymann, Shane Hall, with host Megan Thoma and fact checker Tony Brown as part of Bright Night – 9:oo at AS220.

Be safe, enjoy yourself, and don’t drive if you’re all messed up, ok? ‘Cos, you know, we think you’re pretty great, and would love to see you tomorrow night at the Hangover Slam at WCUW Frontroom (show at 7:oo).
